Featured Android Game Review : Kids Mosaic

M
osaic is a splendid leisure for children, as it improves visual memory, logic, wit and imagination. In the process of playing children learn to distinguish colours and solve various tasks by creating their own pictures. Besides, making up unique compositions develops concentration, diligence and attention.
The game provides two playmodes: Choose mosaic, i.e. making a picture according to one of 30 fascinating templates varying in difficulty and colour diversity, and Free mode, a challenge which stimulates imagination as it allows to create a unique mosaic using elements of 10 bright colours.

There are two big questions in any kids app and they are: Is is easy enough for them to understand and is it interesting to them? So why not test it out on my 4-year old son? I simply told him the app was on his Galaxy Note 10.1 to see if he would try it on his own and if he could figure it out. He ended up giving it a shot, and shortly after, I asked him to show me how it works. To my amazement, he figured it all out. He’s not ready for Free Play just yet, but he was well on his way to accomplishing many of the images in the game mode. The game was simple enough for him to understand on his own and he likes it, so that’s a winner in my eyes. Now the fact that it inspires creativity is just icing on the cake.

Everyone older than 3 years can try it, because the game process is easy and enjoyable. The app is an analogue of the table game known for many generations, where you can create random pictures with bright colorful counters.
